Fritz Beeson has been employed as an attorney at the Salt River Project (SRP), located in Phoenix, Arizona, since 1985. He held the position of Manager of Litigation Services at Salt River Project from 1991 to 2011.  He now serves as Senior Director, Law Services - Litigation. SRP operates seven water storage reservoirs along the Salt, Verde and Clear Creek rivers in Arizona with a storage capacity of 2.7 million acre feet. The water from SRP’s reservoirs is provided to agricultural users and municipal and industrial consumers in the Phoenix metropolitan area. SRP is also the third largest public power entity in the United States. SRP delivers electric energy to over 950,000 customers in the Phoenix area and with net revenues of $3.4 billion in annual revenues. Mr. Beeson specializes in water rights, environmental, endangered species and natural resources law and litigation, as well as contract litigation, personal injury and toxic tort defense work. Mr. Beeson graduated from Arizona State University in 1976 with a BA in Anthropology (cum laude) and in 1984 he earned his JD at the University of Arizona College of Law. He then served as judicial clerk for the Hon. William E. Eubank, Arizona Court of Appeals. Mr. Beeson is very active in several local and national professional and civic organizations. Mr. Beeson is married and lives with his wife and two daughters in Tempe, Arizona.
